Simple Sign 1
1. First get a picture you would like to use:
2. Now go to image>>greyscale to turn the picture black and white:
3. Now click the selection tool and choose freehand selection:
and make sure you have these settings:
4. Then select the person in the picture:
5. Once you have done that go to selections>>invert:
6. Now go to Layers>>Duplicate:
7. Next hit delete on your keyboard so your layers palette looks like this:
8. Then click on your bottom layer. Now go up to Layers>>New raster Layer and click okay. Your Layers palette should look like this:
9. After you have done that choose a brush to put in the blackground. Once you decided make sure your on the new raster layer and fill it with brushes using the color code #404040. If you need brushes, there are some under the brushes page. Mine looks like this:
10. Now go to Selections>>Select None.
11. Make sure New Raster Layer is still selected and go to Effects>>3D effects>>Drop Shadow and set your settings to the following:
12. Now go to the top layer and add a drop shadow with same settings. Mine looks like this:
13. Next go to Layers>>Merge>>Merge All (flatten):
14. Then go to Image>>Increase Color Depth>>RGB-16bits/channel:
15. Now go to the brush tool and select a basic circle brush and choose the following settings:
16. Also make sure the blend mode is set to Screen!
17. Now pick 2-3 colors and click once with the brush in a 2-3 areas like so:
18. Next go to Adjust>>Brightness and Contrast>>Brightness/Contrast and make the following settings:
19. Now add text and youre done!
